Artesanos correntinos, con sus hachas y cuchillos, dan forma a las ramas y troncos de árbol caído: ñandubay, algarrobo negro, paraíso, eucalipto colorado y sauce, a las que luego decoran con el minucioso arte del trenzado en cuero crudo.

Wielding hatches and knives these artisans from Corrientes give shape to fallen branches and stems of trees such as ñandubay, carob tree, paraiso, red eucaliptos, and willow. These are then delicately trimmed with braids made of rawhide.
